This piece is double stamped by the manufacturer and importer. The green manufacturing stamp under glaze mark "France Depose" indicates that the specific shape, design or decorative pattern was registered at the time of manufacture and authentic.
The blue importers stamp (over glaze) is LS&S Lazarus Straus &Sons (later owner of Macys Department store)dates it to 1880 through the 1920s, the late Victorian or edwardian periods.
A very special collectors item in wonderful condition. No crazing or chips and much gold guilding intacr.
