For your consideration is this antique frosted glass vanity dresser hatpin box that was manufactured by Dithridge Company in the United States between 1899 and 1901. It is a beautiful handmade piece in the "RAY END" pattern painted gold. The dimensions of the box are 4.1 inches in length, 2.7 inches in width, and 1.7 inches in height, making it a perfect size for storing small trinkets or cosmetics. Both the lid and dish are embossed with the number "26". The item is a great addition to any collection, whether it be for its historical significance or beauty. It falls into the categories of trinket boxes, vanity, perfume shaving, and collectibles. Condition: May have been painted gold by a hobbyist post manufacturing as the red outline of the pressed glass pattern can be seen from the underside. The underside of the lid does have a few chips....a common defect found on these.
