Andy Warhol Exhibition: 15 Minutes Eternal - Catalog - Art - Largest Warhol Retrospective

This exhibition is the largest Warhol retrospective in Japan, comprehensively showcasing the works of American art giant Andy Warhol from his early to late career. Featuring approximately 400 works, including paintings, silk screens, drawings, films, sculptures, and photographs, primarily from the collection of the Andy Warhol Museum (Pittsburgh, USA). In addition, approximately 300 items, including personal writings, magazines, newspapers, and photographs, housed in boxes known as "Time Capsules," will be unveiled, including materials related to Japan.

The title "Eternal 15 Minutes" comes from Warhol's famous quote, "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes." While his lifetime may have been a short period in the grand scheme of history, his influence continues eternally, both now and in the future.

The Tokyo exhibition at the Mori Art Museum marks the final stop of the Asian tour, which began in Singapore. The Mori Art Museum has added exhibits and restructured the program, making this Tokyo exhibition unique.
