This is an Alpha Industries blue M65 coat with a removable quilted liner. It also has lots of pockets and a pack away hood. Also, there's extra room in the arms for better movement. My favorite part of this jacket is the canvas shell that has fade marks. The pocket flaps were worn tucked inside so the flaps are dark blue, while the rest is light blue. There's also many other color variations due to age and how the sun hit it.
The jacket has a full metal zipper that works well, and buttons for closure. This coat is not military issue, and I'm going to say early 80s for the age, only because it still has a metal zipper and the plastic ones came out late 80s.
No holes or tears noted in this coat.
