Achieve. 90s Handmade Fair Isle Aran Sweater

This is an Aran knit sweater with a Fair Isle pattern on the sleeves from the early 1980s to early 1990s, purchased at Achieve Store in Tokyo for approximately 23,000 yen.

According to the store clerk:
Aran knit sweaters originated in the Aran Islands of Ireland and were originally clothing for fishermen. It is said that the fishermen's wives knitted them with various wishes for their husbands' safe fishing and success, making them a kind of amulet.

This item features a deep navy color and a Fair Isle pattern on the sleeves, making it a unique piece.
It's a romantic item, handmade at the time, filled with warmth and wishes.
