This issue is the first one to bear the name of the Maison in its title, following the initial issues "N°A," "N°B," "N°C," "N°D," and "N°E." This represented Margiela's spirit of valuing teamwork. Through Margiela's insightful curation, the presence of collaborators who were indispensable to the Maison's anonymous activities behind the scenes is revealed through the pages.

This issue aims to revive the Maison's teamwork on the pages, not just focusing on Margiela himself, but also through the words, photographs, and videos left by staff, interns, models, artists, photographers, musicians, set designers, filmmakers, and all the people involved with the Maison. The fact that this issue has been eagerly awaited for a reprint even now, nearly 20 years after the first edition was published, is proof that "A Magazine" has continued to deliver timeless content.

Furthermore, this issue reveals that the Dadaist deconstruction expression of "destroying old structures and generating new structures," which permeated all of the Maison's activities, from clothing, photography, and casting to communication, has not lost its uniqueness even today. Also, from the paper to the printing, the first edition has been completely reproduced, and the back cover contains an explanatory text about this reprint project by the current editorial department.
