The Final Four featured the teams from Georgetown, Houston, Louisville, and North Carolina.
The tournament was held at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on March 27 and 29, 1982.
North Carolina won the championship game against Georgetown with a final score of 63-62, on a game-winning shot by freshman Michael Jordan.
