1970's MCM carved pine heart mirror 24" x 11" folk art cabin like. Pristine !
In 1974 when I was in the third fourth grade my mother took me to Frankenmuth Michigan - 15 minutes away from Saginaw Michigan and we went to a little art fair there and there was an artist selling these in all different shapes and styles and my mother bought a darker one with no design just an oval cut out with a little shelf below it and it hung at our house for decades until she passed away. I have a feeling that this one was made by the same artist. I love their work and I did find a really long one that was like 5 ft long and had a clock embedded in it and a mirror with with mushrooms and butterflies cut out. The mirror is perfect as is the wood ... and I can ship this without breaking it no problem because I have 28 years experience !!! The wood is a sof twood with a medium brown stain and I would probably guess that it is pine.
