For sale is a Scarce 1899 $1 Black Eagle Silver Certificate with About Uncirculated details and exceptional paper quality, however it has been ripped at some point.
In this AU high grade, the 1899 $1 dollar bill is very hard to find and highly valuable.
Details grade- due to the rip. Really nice original paper quality remains bold, as well as the details are exceptionally strong.
Unique serial number starts with 12 and ends with 12.
Greysheet Value: $1,000. Ripped so I’m discounting it heavily, only asking $650.
This is the only piece of U.S. currency ever issued which displays the portraits of 2 different presidents Lincoln and Grant two giants of 19th century.
The obverse features the coveted black eagle along with a portrait of Lincoln and Grant.
